Easy-to-cook Roast Duck Crown

for 4 persons



Duck Crown of 1.2 kg

2 sliced shallots and 1 sliced onion

1 teaspoon of liquid honey




  1. Cover the duck crown skin with honey- you can put more than 1 teaspoon of honey depending of your liking
  2. Season with pepper and thyme.
  3. Place the duck in a deep oven tray with the shallots, onion and 2 glasses of water, in the middle of the 200 °preheated oven.
  4. Cook for 1 hour. After 30 min of cooking, pour some of the duck jus onto the duck.
  5. Once cooked, place the duck in a serving dish and let it cool for 10 min. Carve.
  6. Throw away the duck jus - it is very fatty- and add some warm water to the shallots and onion. Mix well and pour onto the sliced duck and chosen side orders.
